When he was in middle school, my son complained to me that his friends liked to pick on him for being Asian. He got tired and asked me to move him to a high school where most students were Asian. Now in high school, he complains that his Asian friends are picking on him for being Vietnamese.
Last year, I took him to Vietnam. He told a Vietnamese kid that his parents were from the North. The kid told him that people from North Vietnam are no good.
People always find reasons to discriminate.

Yes, discrimination seems to be second nature. The irony is that those being discriminated don't realize they also discriminate against others...such as one minority group discriminates against another...
